Globally, the model of production and consumption where resources are extracted, produced, and disposed only once in their lifetime has proved vastly unsustainable.

The CTF and EBRD supported the Turkey Near Zero Waste Program to reduce waste generated by private sector companies by removing barriers to adopting circular economy practices via the provision of concessional funds, convening of policy dialogues, and organizing knowledge sharing activities.

This delivery lab will bring together a range of experts and implementers to discuss the main obstacles in working with new waste minimization technology and circular economy practices. It will also address how these obstacles can be overcome to increase adoption and spur further innovation.

This climate delivery lab is part of Challenge Accepted: Tackling Delivery Challenges in Climate Action, a learning event series co-hosted by the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) and the Global Delivery Initiative (GDI)
