Are you a resident of Brazil, Ghana, India, Papua New Guinea, or Türkiye, aged 18-28, and looking to deepen your expertise in climate finance while gaining hands-on experience in climate action?
The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) invited eligible candidates to a information-sharing session for the CIF Youth Fellowship Program. This Q&A session, held virtually on December 10, 2024, provided a platform to answer questions and guide potential applicants from eligible countries.
The CIF Youth Fellowship is a unique opportunity for young climate leaders to gain real-world experience in climate finance, working on impactful projects with support from CIF and its key Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) like the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the World Bank. Fellows collaborate with MDBs on projects in climate resilience, renewable energy, and sustainable development, directly impacting local and global sustainability goals.
In the info session, CIF and MDB representatives covered the program’s structure, eligibility criteria, and selection process and answered questions about the application requirements. The Fellows from the previous cohort also shared their experiences.
