This event will present key findings from a comprehensive review of climate indicators used by the Climate Funds. The Collaboration Platform for Climate Finance (CFCP) has been working over the past four years on ongoing and future harmonization efforts for climate metrics. Established at COP25, the CFCP includes some of the largest multilateral climate funds (MCFs), the Adaptation Fund (AF), Climate Investment Funds (CIF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), Green Climate Fund (GCF), and Mitigation Action Facility (MAF). The platform aims to harmonize approaches, indicators, and methodologies for measuring impact to enhance the effectiveness of climate finance.
This event will showcase the steps taken to deliver coherence and collaboration in measuring climate finance results. It reflects a shared vision and commitment by the MCFs to work together to accelerate the transition to a green, inclusive, and resilient economy.
