Mafalda Duarte is CEO of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), an $8.5 billion multilateral fund supporting climate action in 72 developing countries for over a decade. Sonia Dunlop is a Senior Policy Advisor at E3G and on the Steering Group of the Big Shift Global Campaign. She has 10+ years of experience in solar PV industry, the European Parliament and the UK House of Commons, working throughout to effect change in key renewable energy policies and legislation. She works closely with public banks, governments, NGOs and multi-lateral development organizations on climate-related issues.
John E. Morton is a Partner at Pollination with 25+ years of experience in emerging markets, investment finance, and economic and environmental policy. He was a Presidential Appointee by former President Obama, and has held several roles including White House Senior Director for Energy and Climate Change. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the European Climate Foundation, the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center, among other roles.
Adrien Vogt-Schilb is a senior economist at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Climate change division. He designs decarbonization strategies that are effective and politically acceptable, such as the alignment of NDCs implementation with local development goals and the long-term decarbonization imperative, and the management of political economy issues in the transition – including labor, social and fiscal impacts of decarbonization.
Rohit Khanna is Manager for Global Energy Programs at the World Bank, covering Climate Finance and the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP). Prior to ESMAP, Mr. Khanna worked on the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Clean Technology Fund (CTF), the United Nations Environment Program, and Save the Children Federation in various countries such as Cambodia, Ghana, South Africa, and Bhutan.
Silvana Habib is the President of the Colombia National Mining Agency since November 2015. Habib is a lawyer, specialized in Public Management and Administrative Institutions and has a Master’s Degree in Industry Law and International Business. She has also worked as an Advisor to the Ministry of Justice, was Director of Contracting at Fiduprevisora and Private Sector Director at the President’ Office.
Dan Wishnick is a Managing Director at Fluence – A Siemens and AES Company. Dan’s responsibilities for Fluence include management of the distributed solutions markets for North America. Dan has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering, business development and managing operations in the US, China, India, South America and Europe for other international companies including Siemens.
